Baluchon sac du marché - coton carreaux français avec petite réparation

Made from vintage French checked cotton, self lined. Sourced in France. This one is a little cheaper as it is made with the last of this fabric and there was a very small weakness in one part. So as not to waste it i made a hand stitched repair with linen thread which holds nice and strong.

The baluchon bag is inspired by the traditional way of carrying goods in a square of fabric, often tied in the four corners. The market version is a bigger tote style bag with an interior pocket, surprisingly spacious with knotted handle that can be carried, worn on the shoulder, or across body.
