Found. Wool blanket small

An antique heavy woven wool blanket with hand hemmed edges and overlocked central join. Possibly mixed with hemp due to its weight and hand feel. Originating from Salamanca in Spain these pieces are believed to have belonged to a cow herder and would have been used as a surface to sleep or to cover the body in bad weather conditions. This blanket has the owners initials, E.R, hand embroidered and a small repair also made by hand.

Each blanket is handmade and unique. These pieces are not new and therefore will have signs of a previous life. Any particular markings will be noted in the description.
