The baluchon bag is inspired by the traditional way of carrying goods in a square of fabric, often tied in the four corners. This smaller version closes with a single knot, making the ideal lunch bag for picnics or to keep vegetables.
Made from vintage cotton handkerchiefs that were typically used by paysan as neck ties or knotted on the head during fruit picking seasons. They are assembled in a patchwork and have a hand embroidered Ségo Ségo on the outside.
The lunch bag is lined with cotton, repurposed from old house linens, making it strong enough to accompany you on hikes or to the beach.
Made by me, by hand. Please note, the bags are new, but the fabrics are not and while I have done my best to salvage the best parts there may be some signs of age. If there are any particular markings to note, I will write this in the product description.
