Painters Trouser

Comfy working trouser made in repurposed antique linen. Reclaimed from a closed down textile factory just outside of Paris. We buy it from a painter, who has been using it to stretch over the frames for his canvases, but decided he wont be able to paint enough in his lifetime to use it all.

The style is mid rise with a tie waist and concealed button fly. All French seams with double stitch in high resistant thread and reinforced knees for extra hard wearing.

The material is in its natural undyed state, fairly rigid to start and then over time it softens to you. A process we love

All sizes are unisex with quite a lot of adjustment in the waist, please see measurements below for a guide. There are two length types, extra long rolled, as pictured and ankle cut. Please select which you would prefer when ordering. As all orders are hand made leg length can also be easily adapted for you, just drop a note in order comments with the length you would like added or removed.

S. Waist laid flat: 41cm relaxed 

Leg length rolled: Full leg length at inner seam when long: 79cm/ Leg length at inner seam when rolled: 72cm 

Leg length for ankle cut: Full leg length at inner seam: 67cm

M. Waist laid flat: 49cm relaxed

Leg length rolled: Full leg length at inner seam when long: 80cm / Leg length at inner seam rolled: 73cm  

Leg length for ankle cut: Full leg length at inner seam: 68cm

L. Waist laid flat: 54cm relaxed / Full leg length at inner seam : 81cm / Leg length at inner seam rolled: 74cm 

Leg length rolled: Full leg length at inner seam when long: 81cm / Leg length at inner seam rolled: 74cm  

Leg length for ankle cut: Full leg length at inner seam: 69cm

Charlie normally wears size 36 (S), her measurements are - Hip: 83cm / Waist: 68cm/ Height 168cm. In the photo she is wearing size S "rolled".
