Sacoche jacket

Sacoche jacket made from an antique cotton mattress toile from Igualada, Spain. It features two large pockets with pleat detail to allow for extra room when foraging mushrooms and chestnuts, and an internal pocket to keep the rest separate and secure. The fabric is repurposed and pieced together with some hand stitched repairs and signs of its previous life. It is a really beautiful mid weight pink stripe, perfectly softened with age. The collar is in a contrast heavy weight taupe brown cotton, sourced in Bordeaux in France and previously used for upholstery.

The cut of this jacket is designed to layer comfortably over shirts and jumpers. A more open cuff also means no bunching around the arms. Hand sewn pocket stay stitching and a contrast brown top stitch. All buttons reclaimed mercerie stock, made in France.

Sizing is unisex. The jacket features a dropped shoulder and a slightly cropped, boxy cut.
